Tried to learn a new coloring technique. Noticing problems with Legs. Gotta focus on leg anatomy immediately after Hand. (Sigh!)

I passed some very busy and colorful days in last week. My cousin brother Ronel came from Qatar in vacation in last month and he was with me for few days here at Dhaka. We roamed in here and there along with Sifat, Kanta apu and Ratul bhai. I almost did nothing related to drawing and art in this week. Modern Maharaja

This illustrations were also done for earki. A satire about a Maharaja and his doughters in contemporary period. I'm loving working for earki because there is no limitation for color and details which I face when I draw for print media specially Bicchu.

Game Of Thrones

If Game Of Thrones was made in Bangladesh. A fun "Rickshaw Painting" inspired illustration I did for earki a few weeks back. This experiment with subcontinental color palette and style was fun. 

Art Supplies From Qatar!

My younger brother Ron is living in Qatar for around two years. Working as a Civil Engineer at a construction firm there. Whenever he asks me hey what do you need?

Well.... lemme think! 

No I don't ask him to send/bring phone, watch or something which are available here in Bangladesh. I give him a list of website link of art supplies which are not available here and he send me my desired tools. :D

I do have obsession with art supplies and sketchbooks. I just love them. New sketchbooks, ink, watercolor set, pencils, brushes whatever it is.

This was my first intro with Prismacolor Col-Erase pencil and Sakura Micron Pen. Both of them are beasts. I always wondered what is that pencil my favorite artist 

Jake Parker uses for his rough sketch?? One day I found Jake Parker's tool list and since then I always wanted prismacolor red/orange pencil. Ronel made it happen. :D 

And Micron pen? well it's the best pen for line drawing I've used ever.

 That time Ron sent three sets of Micron and six Prismacolor Scarlet red pencils.

God this things are pricey enough.

Ronel came to Bangladesh last month in his vacation. This time he brought an extra set of Micron pen and Faber Castell Polychromos and Albrecht Durer Kadmiumrot pencils and of course Prismacolor pencils along with other things for me. 

these things are sexy af. :D
